I’ve spent years working in digital marketing and content, learning what actually works and what doesn’t. From writing and editing to optimizing content for performance, I’ve seen firsthand how small changes can make a big difference in how content connects and converts.
Over time, that work expanded into content operations, building systems and workflows that make content easier to create, manage, and scale without sacrificing quality. With AI now part of the process, I focus on using it to make content better, faster, and easier, while still keeping it clear, natural, and built for real people.
How I Got Here
The Ancrum Ink Story
I’ve been a writer for most of my life, someone who’s always paid attention to how words shape ideas and influence people. That accidentally turned into a career in digital marketing, where I focused on creating and optimizing content that performs online. I’ve seen firsthand how the right content can rank, reach the right audience, and make a real impact.
When AI entered the picture, I was hesitant. It was clear it could change everything, including the role of writers. But instead of resisting it, I leaned into learning how to use it the right way. I wanted to understand how it could make the process more efficient without sacrificing quality.
The more I worked with AI, the more I noticed how inconsistent the results were. A lot of content started to feel the same, easy to spot, and disconnected. That’s where I focused my work, learning how to refine AI-generated content so it reads naturally, feels original, and actually connects with people.
Now, I use AI as a tool, not a replacement. It helps make content better, faster, and easier, but it still needs a human eye to shape it into something meaningful. That’s the balance I bring into my work, and it’s what I help others do as well.
